Krainitsi showing up for the day of adventure. As you can see everyone is well groomed and ready to take on the mountain...
I spent the day at the back of the pack because I would get sidetracked and spend 10 minutes taking a picture and then I would have to run up the mountain to catch up with everyone. This is me attempting to make my footprint look interesting...
Again Shah contends that he never poses. I am pretty sure this is a pose. What do I know about male modeling though...
Nikola and her walking stick!
This is what I am doing with my life. It is no Dallas or Houston for sure but I am not going to complain. We hiked from a drop spot below where this was taken to that second peak from the right. It was a glorious day.
This is where I will be living for the next two years. It isn't a lot right now but with a little know-how and some elbow grease I am going to make a home out of it... Kidding!
I think she may have bit into something that wasn't exactly enjoyable.
Kon It means horse in Bulgarian. You can ride horses up around the lakes and I think it is pretty cheap. As peace corps volunteers we are below cheap so we opted to walk. I think that from the back of a horse is an enjoyable way to see the world. Kimmard come and visit and bring money and we can do this!
For some reason this makes me want to listen to country music... Don't tell anyone please!
Cute! Well Jenna thinks so. Tobias might need some convincing.
He is in a band...

I think this is lake two but I can't promise. Simple math is hard for me...
Nikola resembles a babba in this picture all hunched over with here walking stick. It makes me laugh!
It rained on and off throughout the day. This made things interesting in that I was continuously taking my camera out of my bag and then stuffing it back in which caused me to perpetually fall behind and have to run to keep up with everyone. It also made things a bit cold... and by a bit I mean freezing from time to time!
I will just let this picture speak for itself. We still don't know exactly what it is that he was wearing.
These are the restrooms on the top of the hill. They are Turkish toilets. If you don't know what that means then I will not tell you but just know that you are missing out on one of life's greatest adventures!
One of the lakes. They get a little old and boring after a while. Wait...
I don't know exactly what these mean other than that someone who was once here had some impressive rock stacking skills...
All in all it wasn't the most hideous day.

Sarah thought I smelled smelled... She was probably right!

This picture needs to be the cover of an album for a christian rock band. A bad one at that...

This picture is dedicated to David Latham who taught me the glory and grandeur of this pose!

Naturally we have to let the world know that a bunch of Americans have indeed been here.
So we left our mark!
