  • This man is the number two guy in the whole region when it comes to rocking out on the clarinet. Is it possible for one to "rock out" on the clarinet? Maybe something to think about. He was pretty freaking good though. In fact listening to him play reminded me of the opening lines of Blue Like Jazz (one of the more influential books I have read): I never liked jazz music because jazz music doesn't resolve. But I was outside the Bagdad Theater in Portland one night when I saw a man playing the saxophone. I stood there for fifteen minutes, and he never opened his eyes. After that I liked jazz music. Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way. I use to not like God because God didn't resolve. But that was before any of this happened.

My life is horribly interesting right now! Update: WE RECEIVED THE TICKETS TODAY! I AM GOING TO SEE KENNY G LIVE IN CONCERT!!!!
